Outerwilds Space ship
Here is where I left off with the final design for Outer wild's space ship. Many weeks of development went into this quarky, fun, DIY early space ship design for the Hearthian's in outerwilds. I usually do more realistic design work, so Outerwilds was a breath of fresh air, and very challenging! I hoped this ship would be lovable, unreliable, and a home away from home for the players of outer wilds. The interior cockpit and ship layout, functions were very well thought out and tested by the game designers at Mobius, so I just did a very quick sketch over their temp greybox model and analysis of the bare bones of their test ship model before diving into design. Not as sexy as the usual concept work, but necessary.
